Our firm handled the acquisition of a large waterfront resort complex including complete permitting and licensing services. Other transactions added about 1,000 acres to the Cape Charles Wildlife refuge. Our representation of the land that created Kiptopeke State Park was years in the making. From Kiptopeke to Cape Charles Harbor, Oyster Harbor, to Upshurs Neck Farm at Quinby. From a 3,000+ acre waterfront land tract, to multiple hotel/motel sales, our practice has gained valuable experience in the highest levels of land and property acquisition on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.

Broker Bill Parr served as the chairman of the local Economic Development Authority for seven years, gaining insight and experience with Federal, State and local government economic development programs, agencies, policies and people.

Zoning regulations require substantial efforts, particularly in the extraordinary number of special use permits required in some areas. Our office maintains a high level of awareness of local zoning matters and compliance issues as a valuable resource for our commercial clients.

Septic System and On Site Well regulations and on site water and sewer needs are uniquely regulated by both state and local governments.
